Join thousands of Elvis fans around the UK in 2015 and book one of the 80 special tour dates of ‘The Elvis Years’ to celebrate 80 years of Elvis Presley, one of the biggest cultural icons of the twentieth century.
As a fitting celebration to mark eight decades of the true ‘King’ of rock and roll, ‘The Elvis Years’ has extended its tour to include Peterborough’s Cresset Theatre on March 27.
The Elvis Years in a musical concert production telling the story of Elvis through the years. The show features original Elvis star Mario Kombou and his incredible band and is led by legendary producer, musical director and Ivor Novello award-winner David Mackay.
With a world class cast, authentic costumes and rare film footage, ‘The Elvis Years’ features more than 50 of the King’s greatest hits including ‘Hound Dog’, ‘It’s Now or Never’, ‘Just Can’t Help Believing’, ‘That’s Alright Mama’, ‘The Wonder Of You,’ ‘Suspicious Minds’ ‘American Trilogy’ and many more, as well as lesser known tracks such as ‘Rock A Hula Baby’ and ‘Bossa Nova Baby’.
Actor and singer Mario Kombou has been performing as Elvis for over 20 years.
He says: “We wanted to do something special to mark this special birthday and what better way than to get out there and celebrate Elvis’ life by bringing the story of his life to 80 different stages across the country.”
