Throughout the summer holidays, Fossils Galore in March will be holding a host of summer fun events and activities for youngsters.

The centre, in the town’s High Street will be holding lots of outdoor activities such as fossil hunting, gold panning and geode breaking.

There will also be an Ice Age Hunt which involves 
children searching for 25 different dinosaurs in the buildings - and they will receive a special prize if they find them all.

There will also be a new activity called Archaeology Dig, where the children can hunt through the sand for special relics and even keep their three favourites!

Dr Francis Pryor, of Flag Fen fame, and Maisie Taylor will attend an archaeology Day on August 15.

The summer fun events are open to everyone and it is free admission. There is a tea room, gift shop, local arts and crafts room in addition to the museum with local displays and some from around the world.

Fossils Galore will be open during the holidays - Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturdays from 10am to 5pm, and on Tuesdays from 10am to 1pm.
