A traditional Lithuanian restaurant which only opened in Peterborough in January has pulled down the shutters.
The Shepherd’s Inn opened ater a six-month revamp of the former Royal Spice restaurant in Park Road.
It went for a very traditional look, starting with the waitresses’ outfits and a very rustic interior with a lot of wood including an owl sitting in a tree as you walk in.
On the landing there was a scene depicting a moonshiner with his still.
The inside also had a false wooden front, and diners were seated in little booths with big wooden tables and benches to sit on.
However the shutters have remained down all week, and owner Rolandas Kacinskas admitted it had closed and that he was looking for a new owner.
