Truckfest to return to Peterborough this summer

Truckfest will return to Peterborough later this year, it has been announced.

The popular festival, which attracts thousands of visitors to the East of England Showground, will be held over the August Bank Holiday weekend, rather than the traditional May Day weekend spot.

Last year the event was also held in August, due to the pandemic.

Gates will open at midday on Saturday August 28, for a “Super Saturday”. The show will include new trucks from leading manufacturers, product launches and show offers galore, hundreds of trade stands, exhilarating funfair rides, live music, celebrity guests, children’s characters, and much more to see and do.

In addition, Truckfest 2021 will include a big opening ceremony for the first time, celebrating the return of the full show, with fireworks, monster trucks, and truck displays in the Main Arena. Super Saturday tickets are available, in addition to day tickets and weekend camping tickets, and entitle you to a day at Truckfest and a seat at the exciting opening ceremony on the first night, billed by the organiser, Live Promotions, as “The official opening display will get Truckfest going with a bang! Expect Fireworks, Truck Displays, Monster Truck Rides and a whole lot more.”

Jason Lunn, East of England Arena venue director, said, “Truckfest is a familiar sight here at East of England Arena, and I’m delighted to be able to welcome it back for the 2021 August Bank Holiday, where it belongs!”

Tickets for Truckfest are already on sale and available from www.truckfest.co.uk, including camping tickets, day tickets, Super Saturday tickets and truck tickets for the many owner-drivers bringing their wagons along to display.
