James Ellis, 17, is the driving force behind the event, which is due to be held on Friday, November 4, and 100 per cent of the profits will be split between four beneficiaries.

#TeamGeorge, Anna’s Hope, the Injured Jockeys Fund and the Matt Hampson Foundation will all benefit from the concert.

James, who lives in Castle Bytham, is being assisted by his mother, Karen Munton, managing director of Polebrook-based Airfield Warehousing.

He is a school friend of George Robinson who was seriously injured playing rugby in South Africa last year. #TeamGeorge was set up to support his ongoing care and rehabilitation.

James said: “George’s accident made me realise how precious life really is and I was determined to organise an event which can support beneficiaries that do amazing work with people who really need it.

“I spoke to some talent agents in London and have managed to get some amazing acts lined up, with more likely to be added. I really need the public’s support to make it a huge success.”

The concert will take place at the Peterborough Arena.
