Pumpkin carvings, window displays, costumes and pets - how Peterborough has been getting into the spirit of all things spooky

Trick or treating may not be possible this year but people across Peterborough have still been getting in the spirit of all things spooky for today’s (October 31) Halloween fun.

Dr Liz Robin, Director of Public Health for Cambridgeshire County Council and Peterborough City Council said: “We strongly advise against trick or treating - the fewer people you come into contact with the lesser the chance of you catching and spreading the virus. The good news is that there are lots of alternative activities you can do safely at home.”

This hasn’t put a dampener on things for many households as they have been creating pumpkin carving masterpieces and putting up ‘spooktacular’ house displays and finding many alternative ways to celebrate the day.
