Outdoor theatre at Nene Park
An outdoor summer revival of We Didn't Mean To Go To Sea is coming to Peterborough, courtesy of Eastern Angles theatre company
Fresh from their ‘Swallows and Amazons’ adventures, John, Susan, Roger and Titty pitch up at Suffolk’s Pin Mill ready to take on the challenges of the East Coast.
When the children are invited aboard the ‘Goblin’ they have no idea that their world is about to become a larger and scarier place.
Left alone in charge of the boat they find themselves battling the elements and fighting for survival on the open seas.
Nick Woods’ wonderful adaptation of the classic Arthur Ransome novel is to be performed in a marquee at Nene Park in Peterborough.
The unique set of performances will take place in one of the most beautiful venues in Peterborough, not far from the boating lake and more importantly not far from the new bar and cafe!
You can see it on July 13 at 7:30pm; July14 at 2pm & 7:30pm; July15 at 7:30pm; July16 at 3:30pm & 7:30pm; and July 17 at 3:30pm.
Tickets cost £13-£16, concessions between £11and £14. They can be booked online at www.easternangles.co.uk/show/wdmpb/dates.html
