Held at the East of England Arena and Events Centre, the Festival of Vintage will include vintage entertainment, fashion parades, classic vehicle displays, shopping and live music.

It takes place on September 26 and is aimed at meeting the growing interest in vintage clothes, vehicles, music and lifestyle –spurred on, no doubt, by successful TV costume dramas and series set during the 1930s, 40s, 50s and 60s.

“The festival has been held in York for the last 10 years and has attracted a huge following with thousands of people attending from across the world. I’m really pleased that this success will now be replicated at the East of England Arena.

“It’s great that 2020 will see two Festivals of Vintage: in York in April and in Peterborough in September.”

Dean Rees, business development manager, EEAEC, was delighted that the venue had been chosen for this new edition of the show, saying: “We’re attracting a more diverse portfolio of events to our venue from comic-cons to classic car shows.

“The Festival of Vintage will be a great addition to these and demonstrates to us that there are many more directions for this trend to branch out into, so we’re very pleased to welcome this popular event to our venue.”
