The team that brought big hip hop event Throwdown to Peterborough throughout the Noughties is back.
They are celebrating the 11th anniversary (although they haven’t been about for a couple of years) at the Brewery Tap in Westgate from 9pm to 2am on Saturday (May 2).
They are taking it back to the raw and rugged roots of hip hop, and the Time2Throwdown crew are out to reclaim the throne.
A spokesman said: “Come and join us for some vinyl vandalism as our DJs go berserk, cutting up the freshest hip hop, electro, bass, breaks, soul, disco and more. Peterborough’s finest 4 element hip hop night is back
“It may not be out in the park after dark, but this is as authentic as hip hop gets. Get ready to get down, have fun and make some noise.... it’s Time2Throwdown.”
Hosts are Loftie Long, Danny Spice and Swifty, with DJs Brother B, Illicit Stance, Dr Shrink and more on the decks.
