A chance to do the Juke Box Jive all over again with the Rubettes

The Rubettes
Have your say

Do you remember the classic vocal sounds of Sugar Baby Love, the pure magic of Tonight, the infectious chorus of come on baby do the Juke Box Jive and those great rock’n’roll hits I Can Do It and Foe Dee Oh Dee with the late John Peel’s “favourite rock & roll piano solo of all time” ?

Well the legend lives on and you can re-live those super 70s memories when the “Rubettes featuring Bill Hurd” bring their successful Juke Box Jive roadshow to Stamford’s Corn Exchange Theatre on Saturday.

In a two hour feast of rock’n’Roll/doo-wop, with those wonderful trademark Rubettes vocals, you can indulge yourselves and remember the good times. Sing along, clap your hands, stomp your feet and savour all the 70s big hits and much, much more.

The Rubettes were one of the most unique and stylish bands with their trademark white caps, to come out of the Glam-Rock‘era.

It’s a testament to their huge success, that five decades on, their music is still as popular as it was back then.

If you want to see a totally live knockout show, with a top notch band, this is the complete rock’n’roll experience.

Tickets for Saturday’s show cost £19.00 and are available from the Corn Exchange box office on 01780 766455.
