In an exclusive 12-hour day and night party, Peterborough is set to accommodate some of the most respected artists and DJs from the house music and techno scene.
The event will bring together 2,000 revellers at the Peterborough Arena and welcomes renowned headliners including Darius Syrossian – a big name in the house music scene - and Route 94 who produced the number one hit, ‘My Love’.
Mixology Warehouse has been curated by the Mixology team who have been hosting electronic music parties every month for three and a half years. The events showcase local talent from around the area and have continued to grow in popularity.
With a surge in popularity of the electronic and house music scene, the event on September 5 will celebrate its successful comeback.
Dan Clare, Resident DJ and co-owner of Mixology said: “It’s our chance to celebrate the resurgence of the scene in the city. It’s all about the vibe and atmosphere, stripping it back to basics and concentrating on the essentials.”
The event has been 10 months in the making and has not come easy. He stated: “We have had to start from scratch and work hard to get to where we are now. Mixology has been built up over the past three years and we feel like this is a natural progression to work on a larger event.
“We have managed to build up good relations with global DJ agencies through our monthly events. When we first started, we couldn’t get a response from anyone. ”
The event will run from 2pm to 2am and will house both an indoor room and an outdoor terrace with state-of-the-art audio visual systems and lighting.
Dan said: “The headline acts will grace the main room with support from the Mixology residents and the terrace will feature all local bands and DJs from across the region.
“We are very excited about how it is going to look, this is something we have invested a lot of time and planning into. Expect lots of little surprises throughout the day to the night.”
The full line-up of headline acts include Darius Syrossian, Route 94, Simian Mobile Disco and Leon Vynehall. Founders and resident DJs of Mixology Tom Skinner, Dan Clare, James Chan, Jenny Twenty and Jon Lepore will be coming together to feature on the Warehouse line-up.
