A wonderful way to end the season

On the very last day of the coarse fishing season Rob Lincoln caught a huge net of fish when pleasure fishing the Forty Foot Drain on the Narrows section.

He took a net of tench, big rudd and a bonus perch of close to three pounds on a worm and caster approach with a red maggot and worm cocktail on the hook.

Lincoln is no stranger to big match angling and has fished and worked for some of the best teams in the country and now is a well respected representative of fishing tackle giant Leeda UK.

These days he only wets a line on the odd occasion but my goodness when he does he usually puts big weights to the scales.

HAJAC AGM

With several resignations taking place there are places to fill on the top table to help run the HAJAC Winter League and the other matches run throughout the season.

Clubs affiliated are asked to attend or be represented at the HAJAC AGM which will be held at The 5 Alls, Benwick at 8 pm on Tuesday April 12.

It will be an ideal opportunity to discuss the way forward for the HAJAC, any volunteers for officers and also match venues for next season.
