The city side beat Twenty/20 specialists Nassington and Market Deeping en eroute to glory last season, despite playing the majority of their cricket at Rutland Division Two level.

Deeping host Bourne in the pick of the first round matches. Bourne have already beaten Deeping in the Lincs Premier Division’s Winkworth Cup and they face a two-legged play-off for a place in the Jaidka Cup semi-finals, the first of which takes place at the Abbey Lawns on Wednesday (May 18).
