A game that was halted after 14 overs a fortnight ago should finally take place now that the rain has gone.

Oundle are understood to have registered Rushton’s overseas player Riyaad Henry in time to play tonight. He made his Oundle debut in a Rutland League match on Sunday (June 19), 24 hours after scoring 58 and taking a wicket in a Northants Premier Division game against his new team-mates.

Oundle’s other Rushton import Andrew Reynoldson is also expected to play. The winners travel to Bourne for a semi-final on a date to be arranged.

Peterborough Town have promoted three second teamers to play in their semi-final at Wisbech tomorrow (June 22). First-team regulars Tim Young, Marcus Howard and Jamie Smith are unavailable so Twenty/20 specialist Richard Kendall, Scott Howard and Daniel Oldham step up.

Wisbech have fitness concerns over star all-rounder Gary Freear who is struggling with a hamstring strain.

On Thursday (June 23) Barnack host Bourne in a Stamford Charity Cup semi-final. The second semi-final between Ketton and Market Deeping has yet to be scheduled so the final, which was due to take place at Stamford Town on Monday, June 27 has been delayed. A new date will be announced when the finalists are known.
