TWENTY/20: Holders Oundle beaten in first round
Holders Oundle were beaten in the first round of the Northants Twenty/20 Cup at Rushden last night (June 9).
It was a tough draw for Oundle at the home of the reigning Northants Premier Division champions, but they will feel they should have won a game they actually lost by six runs.
Rushden closed on 117-8 in their 20 overs, bit Oundle paced their reply poorly and it took 41 from 22 balls from Tshepo Moreki to get up to 111-6.
