TIME TRIAL INVITATION: Clarion call for budding cyclists, second for Steels in Sleaford
Local cycling club Fenland Clarion are organising a 10-mile time trial on Wednesday, July 27 around Helpston and newcomers are particularly welcome to take part.
All roadworthy bikes are suitable to use and the cost is £4 for adults or £2 for under 18s, with a parental consent form required.
The event starts at 7.00, with registration from 6.00 - 6.45 meeting in the car park of the former Exeter Arms in Helpston. Any questions please contact Malc at [email protected]
On the road last week, Peterborough Cycling Club’s Claire Steels finished second in the ladies event at the Sleaford Wheelers 25-mile time trial.
James Gelsthorpe was ninth in the men’s race.
