Float Fish Farm Fishery is starting to attract a few more anglers through the gates to fish their regular Wednesday Over 55s match and the Saturday opens.

Stan Dow added another match win at the fishery to his name on Wednesday topping the field with 53lb. He caught on a small feeder in open water catching on sweetcorn and pellet.

Runner-up was fishery regular Vince Hull with 42lb 5oz, then came Darren Jackson on 36lb 2oz.

Much better weights were taken in the Saturday Open. Shaun Waterfall won, putting a fine 120lb 4oz net of big carp to the scales from peg seven, all taken on the feeder.

Darren Jackson came second with 80lb 8oz, followed by Roy Wells with 72lb 4oz.

WEBB’S AC

Webb’s AC fished a pairs match on the Horseshoe Pool at Float Fish Farm on Sunday and Gordon Harmer linked up with Marcus Webb to take top spot with a combined weight of 32lb 3oz. Second were Ken Allum and Mick Linnell with 31lb 5oz.

HADDON LODGE

Lucio Melillo Senior won the latest Haddon Lodge match with 15lb 12oz ahead of Peter Telszewski (13lb 2oz) and Martin Harwood (11lb 7oz).
