STAMFORD CHARITY CUP: Classic Bentley powers to two tons in two days
Fresh from a blistering 120 in a Rutland Division One win over Barnack on Sunday (May 22), Bentley smacked another century in a four-wicket Stamford Charity KO Cup win over Ufford Park at the Abbey Lawns.
Bentley hammered seven huge sixes in his innings of 116 not out as Bourne sped past Ufford’s own impressive 20-over total of 171-2. Ufford skipper Andy Larkin struck 53.

Butt dominated Barnack’s innings of 160-7 as his team-mates struggled against the bowling of Sam Nicholls (4-25). Nicholls also top scored for Burghley with 35 of his side’s 125-6.
Ketton will host Market Deeping in the other semi-final after comfortable seven-wicket quarter-final wins over Castor and Uffington respectively.
Football star Dan Cotton, in his first bowl for 10 months, bagged 3-16 as Castor were shot out for 71. Ulrich van Duyker (4-16) was also hard to play against. Zeeshan Manzoor (32no) and Shakir Mahmood (32) saw Ketton home in just 12 overs.
