SNOOKER: Perry takes a bad beating in Beijing
It was a '˜bad day at the office' for Joe Perry in China today (March 28).
The Chatteris cueman came a cropper in the first round of the China Open in Beijing when managing to score just 38 points in a 5-0 defeat at the hands of Alfie Burden.
Perry tweeted afterwards; “It was not a good day at the office. I was completely outplayed. Good luck to Alfie.”
The ranking event is the last before the season-ending World Championship in Sheffield, which starts on April 16.
