Webb’s AC were back on the Horseshoe Pool at Float Fish Farm Fishery on Sunday and Marcus Webb took a comfortable victory on what turned out to be a difficult day’s sport on the pool.

Webb fished a small feeder with pellet to weigh in 31lb 6oz. Runner-up on 14lb 7oz was Andy Perry, then came Ken Allum on 6lb 11oz.

At Haddon Lodge the carp still refuse to feed in any numbers.

The consistent Lucio Melillo topped the field again with a modest 16lb 7oz net of skimmers taken on the pole with pellet.

In second place weighing in 12lb 4oz was Peter Telszewski followed by Tony Moulds on a level 10lb.
