Stilton's Matt Skelhon has struck gold again.The Paralympic gold medallist in Beijing returned from his first competitive shoot of the year – the Polish Open – with another impressive victory.

Eight nations competed in the event, which saw strong teams entered from Germany, Poland and Slovakia, and once again Skelhon was top gun.

He took gold in the R3 10m air rifle prone SH1. He had qualified for the final in third place, with a score of 598 behind Slovakia's Veronika Vadovicova with a perfect 600 and Poland's Waldemar Andruszkiewicz with 599, but he fought back with a superb final score of 105.6 to take the gold with just 0.3 points more than Vadovicova.

Skelhon also took silver in the R1 10m air rifle standing SH1, just behind British team-mate Nathan Milgate.
