Peterborough Lions star Darren Fox will start for England Counties when they take on the France Federale XV at the Stade Francais in Perigueux tomorrow night (March 29).

The Lions player/coach was named in the side at openside flanker when the team was announced this afternoon.

He replaces Fylde’s Evan Stewart, who drops to the bench, and is one of four changes to the side that beat a Scotland Club XV 37-3 at Fylde three weeks ago.

There will be a new centre pairing of Seb Rodwell and Markus Burcham while Keith Laughlin comes into the second row in place of the unavailable Charlie McGowan.

England Counties, the flagship representative team of the community game in England, will be seeking to avenge a one point defeat by France Federale XV in Nevers last season in their final fixture before they embark on a two match tour of Romania in June.
