It’s President’s Weekend at Peterborough Rugby Club starting tomorrow (Friday).
And as usual that means a feast of rugby and a Beer Festival featuring live music on all three nights (Friday, Saturday and Sunday).
The annual curtain-raiser to the rugby is the Celts v Welsh game tonight which is hoping to raise over £1,000 for charity.
Tomorrow there’s a veterans tournament and on Sunday it’s mini-rugby in the morning, a ladies match at noon and the 1st XV v President’s XV at 3pm.
Opening times for the Beer Festival are 4pm-midnight (Friday), noon-1am (Saturday) and 10am until dry (Sunday).
Children are welcome and Under 14s are admitted free.
It’s £4 entry for adults with a 50% reduction for CAMRA members. Entry is free tomorrow before 6pm and free all day on Sunday.
