Tom was selected to play against France, in Nantes, and Ben and Tom will both play against Scotland.

Tom was also awarded England Under 16 Player of Year (The Trevor Watton Cup) in that season.

Head of Rugby at Oundle, former England hooker John Olver, commented: “Oundle School has had a rich run of fortune at the Elite England level over recent years. Sam Olver (Tom and Ben’s cousin) and Josh Peters also represented England Under 18s and all four players have signed professional contracts post Oundle with Ben and Tom signing for Sale Sharks, and Sam and Josh already fully professional at Northampton Saints.”

Both the Curry boys are due to complete their A-levels this summer. Ben hopes to study pharmacy or maths at university and Tom wishes to study geography.

Two other Oundle rugby scholars, Zac Berrill and Josef Green, both train at Northampton Saints Academy and played against the Curry twins in an Under 18 Premiership Academy game at half-term.
