Race secretary Sue Archer said: “The committee would like to thank the many volunteers who helped out on the day to make it another successful event.
“We’d also like to thank the runners for their support and all the spectators who turned out. Thankfully the weather was much kinder after last year’s downpours.
“We’ve had some really positive feedback about the event and our committee looks forward to seeing everyone again in 2017.”
Money raised through the event will be distributed to local charities and good causes over the coming weeks.
