RACE RESULT: PAC man Martin wins the Thorney 10k

Local runners filled the first three places in yesterday's (March 26) Thorney 10k.

Phil Martin from Peterborough Athletic Club crossed the line first in 34:08 and that was 15 seconds clear of runner-up Paul Halford from Werrington Joggers

In third place was Rob Brownlee from Nene Valley Harriers with a 34:44 clocking.

First female finisher in 23rd place in 39:08 was Lisa Marriott from Ramsey Road Runners.

The 3k junior race was won by Connor Ely from Bourne Town Harriers in 10:26. Runner-up in 10:34 was Isaac Lunn from Bedford & County with Keelan Duffy from BRJ third in 10:34.
