Posh boss Darren Ferguson is seeking new players for next season.

Here is the list with a rating of how likely they are to be signed by Posh boss Darren Ferguson this summer.

Beevers (left) is a strong centre-back with a League One promotion-winning pedigree. Desperate to leave Bolton apparently (who wouldnt be?), but his current £8k weekly wage is a problem. 6/10.
The central defender's contract has expired, but Birmingham want him to stay and if they are not successful this free-scoring defender will surely find another second tier club. 2/10.

Posh hero released by Sheffield Wednesday at the end of last season. Its a lovely thought, but Posh have already dismissed suggestions of an emotional return and I believe them. 0/10.
This one-time Posh left-back (right) has enjoyed a fine season at Doncaster. Hes resisted signing a new deal at the Keepmoat, but Donny wont want to sell him to us. 4/10.
The former Posh skipper (left) is not expected to be retained by Doncaster so that hardly makes him good enough for us now. He wont be returning. 1/10.
A right-back (right) who's available now, but thats because Doncaster cancelled his contract after a criminal conviction. Will Posh really sign such a controversial character? 5/10.
Centre-back (right) currently on loan at Newport from Manchester United. Poole (20) could be a good signing alongside a more experienced man. 7/10.
A 31-year-old centre-back (left) who has just been released by QPR. No thanks. 2/10.
Goalkeeper expected to move into the Football League from AFC Fylde and Posh are after hungry non-league players again. 7/10.
A fine former Posh midfielder (left) just released by Sheffield United. Just back from a long injury absence so can't see it happening. 2/10.
Goalkeeper who has a decent season at Doncaster, but Posh can do better. 3/10.
Posh are in the market for a fit and mobile left-back and this Newport player (right) fits the bill. 8/10.
