Nationaltitles for three Hicks Karate School students

Peterborough's Hicks Karate School, which is based in Fengate, picked up six trophies at the World Karate and Kickboxing Commission (WKKC) national championships held in Bradford.

Three members of the six-strong team returned as national champions.

They were Michael Evans, Atlanta Hickman and Braydon Popat-Evans.

Rahim Ebrahim - Advanced boys under 30kg 10 years and under - runner-up.

Ginge Popat-Evans - Advanced boys under 30kg 10 years and under - 2nd.

Braydon Popat-Evans - Advanced boys under 35kg 11-12 years - runner-up.

Jazmyn Popat-Evans - Advanced girls under 55kg 13-14 years - 2nd.

Atlanta Hickman - Ladies Black Belts under 60kg - 2nd.

Michael Evans - Advanced men’s under 85kg - champion.
