National medals for JAMA's awesome foursome

A youth team from the city's JAMA kickboxing club achieved a fine set of results at the FSK (Frontier School of Karate & Kickboxing) National Championships in Manchester over the weekend.

Kieran Ebbage (14) comfortably walked away with gold and silver in his light-continuous category.

Mia Edwards (13) and Autumn May (8) both fought exceptionally hard in their semi-contact categories with each winning silver.

Alex Langham (11), fighting against a black belt in her first ever major competition, also managed to win a silver in her semi-contact category. JAMA instructor Lianne Jones said: “I’m very proud of everyone who fought. It is really great to see their development and progress in the sport.”
