Joe Perry bowed out of the World Grand Prix in Llandudno yesterday (March 18).

The Chatteris cueman was beaten 4-2 by Judd Trump, who the previous day had pipped Perry in the highest break stakes.

Perry compiled a 139 in his first round match on Tuesday against Ben Woollaston and a few hours later Trump made a 140 in his first round win over Dominic Dale. The prize for the top break is £5,000.
