Fenland potter Joe Perry was beaten in his Indian Open quarter-final in Mumbai by Ricky Walden today (March 13).
Perry lost three frames in a row to Walden after his best break of the match (55) had taken him into a 2-1 lead.
It was another consistent showing by the Chatteris man though as he builds towards next month’s World Championships.
Perry came through a last-frame decider in his last-16 tie against Kyren Wilson this morning to set up the clash with Walden.
Perry trailled 2-1 and led 3-2 before producing his best break of the match (55) to take the final frame 79-0 and seal a 4-3 victory.
