Sam Rippington.

Jeyeratnum top scored in Cambs 251-9 before Herts replied with 83-2 at the close of the first day of three.

Peterborough Town players Joe Dawborn (26no), Asim Butt (24) and David Sayer (21) all made handy contributions, but the city side’s all rounder Lewis Bruce was dismissed for four.

Wisbech pair Josh Bowers and Sam Rippington scored 13 and two respectively, but the latter picked up both Herts wickets to fall, one with the aid of a great slip catch by Butt.
