City businessman Paul Cullington narrowly missed out on a medal at the European Open Indoor Rowing Championships in Amsterdam at the weekend.
Competing in the Over 50s category, Cullington, who is managing director of Orton company Krusada Teamwear, finished fourth beating the 2013 European champion Paul Winton of the Royal Navy.
Next up for Cullington is the British Championships in three weeks time and then the World Championships in March .
Cullington took up indoor rowing to keep fit five years ago when he retired from rugby. In his first year he won a silver medal at the British Championships.
