Pam Sly got her second winner of the week at Catterick yesterday(December 2).

The Thorney trainer’s four-year-old filly Actinpieces justified her 8-11 favouritism when winning the EPDS Supports Racing Welfare Mares’ Novices’ Hurdle worth £3,899 by three and a quarter lengths.

Gina Andrews was on board and she also partnered the horse to her first victory at Wetherby last month.

Sly had a winner at Leicester on Sunday as well when Bonnet’s Vino romped home first at Leicster.
