The MPSK (Master Parker Serial Kickers) Martial Arts Centre in Alpha Park, Bretton, picked up a stack of prizes at the World Martial Arts Committee (WMAC) Global Awards in Manchester.

Master Ian Parker and a number of his instructors and students were presented with awards for outstanding achievement in martial arts and two of the Centre’s volunteers were presented with ‘Best Volunteer’ awards in recognition of their dedication to MPSK and martial arts.

Master Ian Parker (Head Instructor); Master Shannon Parker (Assistant Instructor); Ashley Kidd (Assistant Instructor); Andy White (Assistant Instructor); Jeremy Drew; Sean Dixon; Andy Eglan; Alastair Gunn.

Best Volunteers:

Dawn Parker, Dawn Dixon.

Maik Konstantinides also received an award for outstanding achievement. He is the head of the Instant Defence system and Master Ian Parker is the European director of the Instant Defence system.

Parker said: “I am so proud of my instructors, students and volunteers. This is a huge achievement for them personally and for MPSK.”

Parker was also elected as Cambridgeshire director of the WMAC and MPSK’s centre was accredited as a centre of excellence.
