Peterborough speedster Dmitrij Sribnyj keeps on rocking the motorsport world.

The 35 year-old export manager from Walton last year became European gymkhana grid racing champion for the third year running in his Subaru Impreza.

Now the Ukrainian-born driver plans to leave his rivals standing in the rallycross world.

Desperate for more action, Sribnyj and his Scoobyclinic team built a rallycross weapon to compete in the 2015 BTRDA Championship.

The car made its debut at the Pembrey circuit in Wales and Sribnyj came away with podium finishes in both races.

He won the first race on the Saturday and finished second the following day.

“Driving fast cars is my passion - it always has been. I fancied a new challenge and loved every minute of the rallycross,” said Sribnyj.

“It was a good way to start. Now I can’t wait for the next round.

“I had a few problems with issues like my handbrake and a bonnet coming open but I now know what the car needs to be better and faster.

“I’d like to thank Scoobyclinic for all the hours of preparation they put in and all my other sponsors.”
