There’s only 24 hours left to enter the first Tallington Lakes Triathlon.
The event is on Sunday (july 5) and entries close tomorrow (Tuesday June 30).
Sprint triathletes can take on a 750m swim, 24km bike, 5km run – the perfect welcome distance to the triathlon community. The more seasoned triathlete looking to conquer a Sunday morning challenge will take on a 1500m swim, 46km cycle and 10km run.
Entrants are promised spring fed lakes, beautifully clear, warm water, stunning countryside and lakeside views all the way to the finish line. The event is chip timed and regular water stations are offered throughout the course. A bike mechanic will be on hand at the race village for all competitors, along with a sports therapist for a post race massage.
“With race day just around the corner entries are filling fast and will close tomorrow, 30 June,” said Jason Randall, Tallington Lakes Triathlon race director.
