Peterborough Triathlon Club (PACTRAC) super veteran Georgina Jennings (74) qualified for next year's European Championships in Weert, Holland, when winning her age group at the St Neots Triathlon.

The 2017 world and European champion finished the standard distance (swim 1500m, bike 28 miles, run 6 miles) race in 3:22.51.

PACTRAC results: 67th Andy Chapman 2:19:11; 103rd Jon Crowley 2:23:08; 178th Simon Guerin 2:30:06; 293rd Steve Hope 2:42:09; 416th Georgina Jennings 3:22:51.

PACTRAC junior Katie Tasker finished seventh when representing the East at the UK School Games at Loughborough University. She now moves on to the British Championships at Mallory Park in two weeks time.
