JAIDKA CUP: Andy is more than handy in Oundle win

Oundle emerged victorious by 10 runs at Milton Road thanks mainly to the all-round efforts of Rushton CC’s Minor Counties star Andy Reynoldson.

Reynoldson’s unbeaten 44 helped Oundle up to 115-4 in their 10 overs and he picked up 3-18 as Nassington were dismissed for 105.

Ben Graves (28) aided an Oundle recovery from 38-3. Aussie Adam McDermott bashed 31 from 22 balls for Nassington.

There are two more zonal matches tonight when a win for Wisbech over Ramsey would see them through to the semi-finals.

Bourne host Market Deeping in a group match tonight, but Peterborough Town’s opening game in the competition has been delayed until tomorrow (May 19) because of rain.
