Crowland talent Kim Lane is set for a Far East adventure.
Lane has been named in the Great Britain Women’s squad for the IIHF World Championship (Division 2A) in South Korea next month.
The tournament takes place in the city of Gangneung from April 2 to 8 at a venue which will be used for the Winter Olympics next year.
GB are set to face opposition from the host nation, North Korea, Australia, Holland and Slovenia.
Lane is currently playing her club hockey in Switzerland for the SC Reinach Damen side.
She is from a ice hockey family. Her parents, Dave and Jo, are owners of Phantoms while brother Dan is the netminder for the title-winning Peterborough Islanders side.
