Peterborough Phantoms have signed Mason Webster until the end of the season.
The 20-year-old British forward has been on a four-game trial for the Phantoms and he impressed coach Slava Koulikov enough to win a longer deal.
Koulikov said: “Over the last few games Mason has shown the right attitude and taken on board the team’s philosophy so I am looking forward to working with him for the rest of the season.
Phantoms Development Co-ordinator Lee Elias added: “In addition to making sure we are a competitive hockey club, Slava always has an eye on the future of the team. Mason fits right into that mind-set and we look forward to helping him develop and seeing what he can bring to the team for the remainder of the season.”
Mason is a former England Under 16 & Under 18 international who has also played for Chelmsford and Haringey.
