Peterborough Phantoms talent Luke Ferrara is on the verge of a full-time move into the Elite League.

The 21 year-old has agreed a move to reigning champions Sheffield Steelers for the 2015-16 season, according to media reports in South Yorkshire.

Ferrara dressed 22 times for the Steelers during the current campaign while on a two-way deal alongside his regular Phantoms commitments.

Ferrara and fellow English Premier League Play-Offs winning Phantoms star Tom Norton represented their country last night (April 10).

Both men featured in the Great Britain Senior Prospects team which beat Romania 3-1 in an international clash at the Fife Ice Arena in Scotland.

Peterborough lad Lewis Hook, who played his hockey for Milton Keynes last season, also featured in the GB side.

Phantoms stage their end-of-season awards bash tonight at the Park Inn hotel in the city centre.
