Milan Baranyk will be returning to the Peterborough Phantoms fold next season.
The city club yesterday (May 11) announced that Baranyk had re-signed a new deal. He scored 27 goals in 51 games last season.
Head coach Slava Koulikov said: “I am very happy to have Milan back with us, he was a big player for us last year.
“He has great skills, reads the game well and knows how to score big goals.
“Milan is one of the most professional players on and off the ice I have ever met and he will be our off-ice fitness coach next year.”
Baranyk said: “I’m so pleased to be a part of the Phantoms organisation again. I am looking forward to next season, and reuniting with everyone.
“The big challenge for us is to repeat the success of last season. It will be hard work, but we have a good team.
“Returning again to Peterborough is brilliant as this is where I feel very good playing my hockey and we have the best fans!”
