City of Peterborough teenagers Sam Anderson and Oscar Sadikot represented England in the Sainsbury’s School Games in Manchester.
England were split into three different teams with striker Anderson scoring the first two goals of the competition in a 6-4 win for his England Blue team against England Red.
Sadikot was his usual steady self in defence for the England Red team.
Anderson travelled further in the competition as England Blue reached the final where they were beaten comfortably 5-0 by champions Ulster.
England Red finished in fifth place.
Anderson attends Thomas Deacon Academy and Sadikot is a student at Jack Hunt School. Both boys can expect to see first team action at East Pemier A Division standard with City of Peterborough this season.
