City of Peterborough Ladies are perfect after two games in East Division One North,
The city side are one of only three teams to have won their opening two matches after a 3-1 success at St Ives yesterday (September 24).
City opened the scoring with a tap in goal from Emilie Morris. St Ives equalised midway through the half before Robyn Gribble, one of last season’s top goal scorers, netted just before half-time to make it 2-1 at the interval.
City dominated the second-half and Tierney Augustine’s powerful run and shot completed the scoring.
Player-of-the-match was awarded to Anna Faux for her fine running and support play.
VCity host Lincoln in their next league outing on Saturday (October 1).
