City of Peterborough are hoping to take advantage of an Olympic hockey boom.

The club are inviting anyone inspired by the gold medal won by the GB Women’s team in Rio to take part in weekly junior hockey sessions at their Bretton Gate base.

Every Sunday (9.30am-11am) sessions are put on for 5-12 year-olds. On Fridays (5-6pm) it’s time for the 10-13 year-old to play.

Girls over 13 have their sessions on Wednesdays (6-7pm) and on Thursdays (6-7pm) it’s boys aged over 13.

The club have numerous qualified coaches available to deliver fun as well as structured practice sessions.

City of Peterborough have a proud reputation of developing young players who reach first-team senior standard.
