City of Peterborough striker Robyn Gribble showed no mercy to East Division One North bottom club Letchworth at Bretton Gate today (February 6).
Gribble, a summer signing from Long Sutton, scored five goals as City made it three wins in a row with a 6-2 success.
Gribble claimed a first-half hat-trick to put her side in control at the break. A Letchworth short corner strike made it 3-1 at the interval.
And it was also 3-1 in the second-half as Gribble scored twice more and Anna Faux also netted for City with a well-struck 15-yard shot.
It was a 10th win of the season for a City side promoted from Division two North West at the end of last season. They are now fourth in Division One North, two points off top spot, but having played a game more than new leaders Saffron Walden.
Wisbech slipped below City after losing 4-0 at Cambridge City.
