The Peterborough lads saw off Comberton 3-0 in what James Stubbs, the teacher in charge of football at King’s, described as “a high quality game of football played in a very a very good spirit”.

He added: “Both teams deserve praise for the way they conducted themselves.”

After a scoreless first half, Kings’s took the lead through Chris Seery before Joe Burborough added the second.

Seery then wrapped up proceedings with his second goal in the last few minutes.

Man-of-the-match was Sandi Possiwe, who had a superb game in centre midfield.
