PT SPORTS AWARDS: Junior Footballer of the Year: Jamie has delivered some of the most impressive scoring stats you’ll ever see!

Jamie Robinson might just be the best young footballer you’d never read about until he was nominated for the Junior Footballer of the Year award.

There are strict reporting restrictions for football at under 11 level and below, but Jamie’s staggering statistics were released to accompany his nomination.

Jamie, who is currently an under 9 player with Feeder FC, scored 156 goals in his first season at the club, 110 last season and he was on course for another ton this season before football came to an abrupt halt.

In Jamie’s first three games as an under 8 player he scored seven, seven and then nine goals! But he’s far from a glory-hunting individual.

Jamie is described by his club as everything you would want in a team captain. He never misses a game and gives 100 per cent in every one of them. He’s become a free-kick scoring specialist.

As usual more votes were cast in this category than in any other and Finley Hardy, a prolific marksman with Glinton & Northborough Under 12s, was a strong second ahead of another sharpshooter Enos Kumadoh of Thorney Colts Under 13s.
