Peterborough United’s winning run came to an end with a 1-1 draw against Doncaster Rovers, but they remain unbeaten and top of League One after six matches.

And the draw today was in no small part down to the brilliance of central defender Ryan Tafazolli who scored the equalising goal in the second-half to cap off a terrific display.

John Marquis had given Doncaster the lead in the first-half.

Aaron Chapman: Made some excellent low saves, in particular his early effort to tip Rowe’s shot onto the post. But was fortunate to get away with spilling one effort and was easily chipped for Marquis’ goal 7

Jason Naismith: Rarely had the chance to push on into the final third. Posh looked weaker when he was moved into a back three 6

Rhys Bennett: Looked nervous under the bouncing ball and struggled at time with Marquis but won his fair share of headers 5.5

Ryan Tafazolli: Blocked a Doncaster effort early in the first-half and was still at it towards the end. Add in being dominant in the air and a goal and you have a superb performance 8

Colin Daniel: Made one crucial block and defended gamely during the match 6.5

Joe Ward: Was anonymous in the first-half but showed his worth in the second-half with a dogged defensive effort 6

Alex Woodyard: Began promisingly but Doncaster swarmed the midfield area and he looked overrun at times 6

Mark O’Hara: Struggled to get in the game with no scraps to feed on when the ball went long 5.5

Siriki Dembele: Was beaten for Rowe’s early chance which hit the post, but set up Godden’s chance and the equaliser 7

Matt Godden: A frustrating day capped off by missing a good chance when he shot wide. Subbed early in the second-half 5

Jason Cummings: Was unlucky to have his chance at running in on goal stopped by a premature referee’s whistle, but rarely looked like scoring 5
